Powerjam has been awarded a
Monat Gratitude grant!

Recognising Powerjam’s 8 years of support to disadvantaged musical teens and tweens
We are honoured and grateful to have received the Monat Gratitude award that recognises the success of our disadvantaged member program since the founding of Powerjam 8 years ago. Year after year, with equal opportunities and support, we have successfully included disadvantaged musical young people into our bands to ensure music education is accessible to all socio-economic backgrounds. Whilst also taking age, genre, and skill sets into consideration when forming and producing young bands, we have proven that music-making transcends boundaries, and that mixing socio-economic backgrounds is both inspiring and educational, and enhances creativity. Members learn to work together towards a common goal, and learn invaluable life lessons.
