Award-winning not-for-profit Rock & Pop band project
Powerjam is a unique not-for-profit project and charity based in SW London, UK for both budding and serious young musicians ages 9-18. Music industry pros channel their experience recording, gigging, and working with domestic and international artists into helping musical young people to form or join bands, and providing the infrastructure to rehearse and gig regularly, songwrite, and professionally record, market, and release music, thereby gaining confidence both on and off stage.
WHAT WE OFFER
Powerjam provides equipment and highly personalised weekly rehearsals with support from our experienced and qualified team of industry professionals.
SONGWRITING & RECORDING
Original songs are developed, recorded, promoted, & released as Singles, EPs and LPs on all streaming platforms.
We prepare and book bands to perform at a high standard at public venues and festivals throughout the community and beyond.
Honestly, we were blown away by the level of excellence at Powerjam.
Tim Staffell (original member of the legendary band Smile, later known as ‘Queen’ who introduced Freddie Mercury to the band to take his place) and Paul Stewart (original member of “The Others”, the third Crawdaddy house band following The Rolling Stones and the Yardbirds).

“It is an absolute pleasure to work with Anna and the talented young musicians who never fail to surprise me in a good way”.
Sir Vince Cable
(Member of the British Parliament)
As my own children grew up, I saw the power that music-making has to positively shape young lives. Powerjam is making a wonderful contribution to the lives of tweens and teens and I look forward to the continuing growth of this exciting charity".
